Technology used for testing and tracking:
- NFL official laser timing system ZYBEK SPORTS is used to test and track times for the 40 yard dash.
-McLLOYD GPS units to measure acceleration and max velocity speed.
-FREELAP laser timing system to track 60 yard dash, fly runs, agility tests, and other sprints.
- 1080 SPRINT. Worlds most advanced portable resistance device for training and testing speed & change of direction movements. Measuring power, force, speed, acceleration, and symmetry with high accuracy. Providing individualized profiles/programs for each athletes training needs.
We test all athletes to collect data, train, and retest weekly to track and record progress. Speed is a skill that must be taught and practiced just like the skill of your sport. All training sessions focus on improving your technical model by enhancing your mechanics in a progressive application to increase your acceleration and max velocity. Athletes will also learn efficient movement patterns in all planes of motion to not only be more agile and explosive, but to also decrease the risk of injury. Certified & registered by the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). All weight room programs are geared towards improving overall athleticism, backed by scientific evidence. An individuals progress is tested frequently using technology to ensure the correct adaptations are occurring. Vance Performance programs are tailored to each individuals needs of their sport, improving where they are along the Force-Velocity curve. Not only do we work on strength, but our main focus is to get the transfer from the weight room to your sport! We thrive on increasing power and speed on the field and in the weight room. Vance Performance is a private sports performance training center that caters to athletes & individuals looking to improve their performance and results.
